MENDOZA, Argentina (Interstat) — Visiting Estudiantes Caseros delivered a stunning 4-1 victory over Gimnasia Mendoza in the Argentine Primera Nacional on Saturday, defying pregame projections.

Interstat’s game simulator had projected a 1-1 draw and gave the home side a 65 percent probability to win. Instead, Estudiantes Caseros dominated the match at Estadio Víctor Antonio Legrotaglie.

Alan Martín Cantero, a substitute from San Juan, Argentina, sealed the win with a goal in the 88th minute. The match was marred by discipline, with Estudiantes Caseros receiving four yellow cards and a 73rd-minute red card shown to Lautaro Cruz Lusnig.
