Pelister vs Belasica
PELISTER, BITOLA, North Macedonia (Interstat) — Pelister hosts Belasica on Friday, May 15, 2026, in a Week 10 matchup of the MKD Second League, with both teams seeking momentum in a tightly contested second-tier season.
Pelister enters the match following a resounding 7-0 victory over Shkupi on May 9. That win snapped a two-game losing streak that included a 2-1 loss to FK Rabotnichki Skopje on May 2 and a 1-0 defeat at AP Brera Strumica on April 26. The Bitola-based side has shown offensive firepower, scoring at least two goals in four of its past six outings, but has also struggled with consistency. Over its last 10 league matches, Pelister has compiled a 4-3-3 record, with notable wins against Shkendija (2-1), Gostivari (3-0) and FK Makedonija Gjorche Petrov (2-0). Defensively, Pelister has kept clean sheets in six of its past 10 games, though it conceded two goals in consecutive draws with Ohrid Lihnidos and Aresimi.
Belasica arrives after a 2-1 home win over Besa Dobërdoll on April 24, a result that snapped a two-match winless streak. The Strumica-based club has posted a mixed 3-2-2 record over its past seven matches, with a standout 7-0 thrashing of Shkupi on Nov. 30, 2025. However, Belasica has also suffered narrow defeats, including a 2-1 loss to Skopje on Nov. 8 and a 5-4 defeat to KF Aresimi 1973 on Aug. 27. The team’s scoring has been inconsistent — after the 7-0 outburst, Belasica managed just one goal in its next three matches, before rebounding with two against Besa Dobërdoll.
According to Interstat’s game simulator, the match is projected as a 1-1 draw. But the same system’s ELO rating gives Pelister a 71.20% probability of victory, reflecting the home side’s statistical edge. Pelister’s recent form at home has been strong, with three wins and one draw in its last four home league fixtures, including a 3-0 shutout of Gostivari.
Friday’s contest will be played at Pelister’s home stadium in Bitola. Kickoff is scheduled for an evening time to be confirmed by league organizers.
Following Friday’s match, Pelister travels to face GFK Tikvesh Kavadarci on May 17, then hosts Bashkimi Kumanovo on May 24. Belasica’s next fixture has not yet been announced.
The MKD Second League season continues to heat up as clubs jockey for promotion positions in North Macedonia’s second division.
