SCHAFFHAUSEN, Switzerland (Interstat) — FC Schaffhausen defeated Luzern 3-0 on Sunday in a Swiss playoff match at Wefox Arena, a result that defied statistical projections. Raúl Marcelo Bobadilla opened the scoring for the hosts in the 14th minute. Substitute Danilo Del Toro added a second-half insurance goal in the 71st. The loss was just the second of the season across all competitions for Luzern, which saw midfielder Marco Burch receive a yellow card. The victory improves Schaffhausen’s overall record to 2-2-2.
