MINSK, Belarus (Interstat) — Shakhtyor secured a 1-0 away victory over Dinamo Minsk in a Belarusian Premier League match Friday at Stadyen Traktar.

The lone goal came in the 23rd minute from Shakhtyor substitute Amine El Farissi, assisted by forward Jérémy Sebas. Dinamo Minsk thought it had an equalizer from Dušan Bakić in the 50th minute, but the goal was disallowed. The physical match featured nine yellow cards, five shown to the home side.

The Week 23 result gave Shakhtyor its first win of the league campaign, while Dinamo Minsk began with a loss. The outcome defied pre-match projections that favored the hosts.
