ARMAVIR, Armenia (Interstat) — Yusuf Otubanjo scored in the eighth minute for Pyunik but Gor Manvelyan equalized in the 84th minute as Noah and Pyunik played to a 1-1 draw Sunday in an Armenian Premier League match at Kotaik Stadium.

Pyunik, now 14-5-3 in league play, struck first when Otubanjo, who entered as a substitute in the 44th minute, found the net two minutes later. Noah, 10-6-6 in the league, responded with Manvelyan’s goal in the 84th minute after he came on in the 72nd.

Yellow cards were issued to Pyunik’s Juan David Bravo Padilla in the 38th minute, Noah’s Vaspurak Minasyan in the 48th and Pyunik’s James Santos das Neves in the 70th.

The draw was the third meeting between the sides this season; Pyunik won the previous encounter 2-0 in March. Overall, Pyunik is 19-8-3 across all competitions, while Noah is 22-12-8.
