Thor/KA and Stjarnan battle to 4‑4 draw
DEKANI, Slovenia (Interstat) — Thor/KA Women and Stjarnan Women played to a 4-4 draw Saturday in an Úrvalsdeild Women match at Športni Park Dekani.
Stjarnan’s Ingibjörg Lúcia Ragnarsdóttir opened the scoring in the 6th minute. Heiða Ragney Viðarsdóttir added a goal in the 26th, Katrín Ásbjörnsdóttir in the 39th and Aníta Ýr Þorvaldsdóttir in the 57th. Thor/KA’s four goals were not detailed.
Thor/KA midfielder Ísfold Marý Sigtryggsdóttir received a yellow card in the 19th minute.
Stjarnan entered the game with a competition record of one win, three losses and one draw, while Thor/KA was two wins and one loss. Across all competitions, Stjarnan was 2-4-1 and Thor/KA 2-2.
The match was part of Week 17 of the Icelandic women’s top flight.
