TEPATITLÁN DE MORELOS, Mexico (Interstat) — Tepatitlan delivered a dominant 4-1 victory over Venados FC in a Liga de Expansión MX match Sunday at Estadio Gregorio Tepa Gómez. The result defied a pregame statistical projection of a draw.

The match erupted late, with all goals coming after the 70th minute. Venados attacker Sleyther Lora Hernández opened the scoring in the 71st minute, but Tepatitlan responded immediately. Midfielder Édson Rivera Vargas equalized just two minutes later, sparking a decisive rally for the hosts.

Tepatitlan added three more unanswered goals to secure the Week 12 win, improving its season record to 13 wins, 7 losses and 8 draws. Venados, which received four yellow cards, fell to 4-8-5.
