GOZZANO, Italy (Interstat) — Gozzano looks to secure its first win of the young season when it hosts Pinerolo W on Saturday to open the Serie D campaign.

The match, scheduled for Stadio Alfredo D’Albertas, pits a Gozzano side seeking a reversal of fortune against a Pinerolo W team opening its season. The contest is Week 1 of Italy’s Serie D, organized by the Italian Football Federation (FIGC).

Gozzano enters with an 0-2 record across all competitions and is 0-1 in Serie D play after a 3-1 road loss to Imperia on Oct. 19. The club has been outscored 5-1 in its two official matches this season, including a 1-0 home defeat to Sestri Levante on Oct. 12.

Pinerolo W, by contrast, has yet to play a competitive match in the 2025-26 cycle. Its most recent result was a 0-0 draw against Chieri on May 12, 2024.

Statistical models heavily favor the home side to break its losing streak. Interstat’s game simulator projects a 2-1 victory for Gozzano. Furthermore, the organization’s ELO rating system gives Gozzano a 92.90 percent probability to win the match.
