GRAZ, Austria (Interstat) — Horn defeated Grazer AK 1-0 on Saturday in an Austrian 2. Liga match at Merkur Arena, defying statistical projections for a home victory.

The game’s only goal came in the 68th minute from Grazer AK midfielder Marco Perchtold, a 6-foot native of Graz. Substitute Levan Eloshvili added an insurance goal for the hosts in the 81st minute.

The result marked the first league win of the season for Horn, improving its competition record to 1-1. Grazer AK remains winless in the 2. Liga at 0-2. The outcome contrasted sharply with pregame analytics, which heavily favored a Grazer AK victory.

The match saw three yellow cards issued, two to Grazer AK players and one to Horn’s Niklas Hoffmann. The contest was part of the league’s eighth round of fixtures.
