LUXEMBOURG (Interstat) — RM Hamm Benfica defeated Atert Bissen 2-1 in a Promotion d’Honneur match Tuesday at Terrain de Football Cents.

The game turned just before halftime. Atert Bissen’s Tommaso Del Lungo opened the scoring in the 45th minute, but Hamm Benfica substitute Daniel Tonoli answered two minutes into stoppage time to level the score before the break.

The decisive goal came from Hamm Benfica midfielder Nermin Karić in the 85th minute, assisted by fellow substitute Bryant Nieling. Karić, however, received a second yellow card and was sent off a minute after his goal, forcing the hosts to finish with 10 men. The victory keeps Hamm Benfica unbeaten in league play this season.
