BOOM, Belgium (Interstat) — Spart Myjava W and Trencin W played to a 1-1 draw Sunday in a Women’s Cup match organized by the Belgian First Amateur Division.

The game, held at Sportcomplex Seminarie, saw an early goal from Sint-Eloois-Winkel attacker Daan Debouver in the fourth minute. The score held through a physical contest that featured five yellow cards.

The result was a surprise given statistical projections heavily favored Spart Myjava W. It leaves Trencin W with a winless record of 0-1-1 in this competition, while Spart Myjava W moves to 1-0-1. Both teams will resume their domestic Slovak league schedules in February.
