ÍBV W Hosts Breidablik W in Úrvalsdeild Showdown

VESTMANNAEYJAR, Iceland (Interstat) — Breidablik W enters Saturday’s Week 14 matchup at Hásteinsvöllur as a clear favorite, with Interstat’s ELO system giving the visitors a 73.50 percent probability of victory.

The May 16, 2026, contest pits two sides trending in opposite directions. Breidablik (2-1 winners over Keflavík on May 6) has won three of its last four Úrvalsdeild Women matches, including a 3-1 result against Athlone Town W on Aug. 27, 2025, and a 5-1 demolition of Selfoss on July 30, 2025. Its lone recent setback came against Twente W (2-0) on Aug. 30. Interstat’s game simulator projects a 2-1 final score in Breidablik’s favor.

ÍBV W enters on a two-match slide. The home side fell 3-0 at Selfoss on May 7, 2026, after dropping a 1-0 decision to Keflavík on May 6. However, ÍBV showed promise earlier this season, posting a 3-0 shutout of KR on May 6 and a 3-1 victory at Keflavík on Aug. 3, 2025.
