CLINCENI, Romania (Interstat) — Dinamo Bucuresti opened its Liga II campaign with a victory, defeating Otelul 1-0 on Saturday at Stadionul Clinceni.

The lone goal came from Vasile Buhăescu in first-half stoppage time, securing the win for the hosts. Otelul attackers Răzvan Anton Gorovei and George Cârjan, along with substitute Laurențiu Cătălin Maxim, applied consistent pressure but failed to find an equalizer.

The result defied a pregame projection from Interstat, which had favored a higher-scoring Otelul victory. Dinamo Bucuresti improves to a perfect start in the league season, while Otelul searches for its first points.
