VARAZDIN, Croatia (Interstat) — Zhytlobud-2 dominated KSK Lanchkhuti W 3-1 in a UEFA Women’s Champions League match Saturday at Stadion Anđelko Herjavec, defying a statistical projection that favored the visitors.

Iryna Kotiash opened the scoring just one minute in for the Ukrainian side. Yana Kalinina doubled the lead in the 40th minute before Roksolana Kravchuk sealed the victory in the 78th.

The Georgian club Lanchkhuti found a late consolation goal in second-half stoppage time but finished the match with five yellow cards. Star performer Kotiash also added a final goal in the 90+2nd minute. Zhytlobud-2 improved its tournament record, while Lanchkhuti fell further.
