CHLEF, Algeria (Interstat) — Widad Adabi defeated MCB Oued Sly 3-0 on Sunday in an ALG Ligue 2 match at Stade Maâmar Sahli. The victory lifted Widad Adabi to 1-0 in the competition and across all competitions this season, while MCB Oued Sly fell to 0-1 in both.

Mohamed Eid opened the scoring in the 12th minute with a right-footed goal. Zachary Hadji added a second goal in the 64th minute, also with his right foot. Widad Adabi controlled the match from the opening whistle, holding MCB Oued Sly scoreless through 90 minutes.

The game was the first of the season for both sides in Ligue 2’s Week 17 schedule. MCB Oued Sly, playing at home, was unable to generate consistent attacking opportunities against a disciplined Widad Adabi defense. The result gave Widad Adabi an early boost in the standings as the season begins.
