ZHODZINA, Belarus (Interstat) — Egor Zubovich scored in second-half stoppage time to salvage a 1-1 draw for Neman Grodno against Torpedo BelAZ in a Belarusian Premier League match Friday at Stadyen Tarpeda.

The result in the Week 16 fixture defied pregame projections that heavily favored the home side. Torpedo BelAZ took the lead in the 35th minute on a goal from midfielder Vadim Pobudey. Neman Grodno pressed for an equalizer and was rewarded when Zubovich, the attacker from Uzda, found the net in the 92nd minute.

The physical match featured eight yellow cards. Both teams remain unbeaten but winless early in the league season, each with a record of one draw.
