Both teams enter the fixture on the strength of lopsided victories nearly 13 months ago. Al Shamal II last played on May 1, 2023, routing Al Ahli II 5-0. Al Arabi II followed a day later with a 4-0 shutout of Umm Salal II on May 2, 2023.

Statistical projections from Interstat offer conflicting outlooks. The game simulator favors Al Arabi II with a 2-1 final score. However, Interstat’s ELO rating system gives Al Shamal II a 60.10 percent probability to win, suggesting a slight edge for the visitors despite the simulator’s pick.

The Reserve League serves as the developmental tier for Qatar’s top-flight clubs, and both sides will look to build momentum in the second half of the season. Al Arabi II will benefit from home support at the 10,000-seat venue in Al-Wakra, a coastal city south of Doha.
