SOCCER: PK-35 hosts Åland United in Women’s Cup clash

HELSINKI (Interstat) — Pallokerho-35 hosts Åland United on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Tali Halli Tekonurmi in a Women’s Cup matchup organized by the Football Association of Finland.

The game pairs two clubs heading in opposite directions. PK-35 enters on a high after a 1-0 win over HJK on Wednesday, April 22. Anna Hirvonen scored the lone goal in the 67th minute. It was the first league win of the season for PK-35, which dropped its only other match, 1-0 at P-Iirot on Feb. 15.

Åland United arrives following a dramatic 3-2 victory over Honka on Sunday, April 19. Emma Rantanen netted twice, including the winner in the 89th minute. But the result snapped a two-game skid: an 8-3 loss to HJK on April 14 and a 1-1 draw with KuPS on Feb. 21. Åland also lost 1-0 at TPS on Feb. 14.

Statistical projections offer conflicting forecasts. Interstat’s game simulator predicts a 2-0 win for PK-35. However, the company’s ELO system gives Åland United a 78.70 percent probability of victory.

Åland United leads the all-time series 5-3-2, but PK-35 won the most recent meeting, 2-1, in August 2023.

Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. local time.
