BARRANQUILLA (Interstat) — Independiente Santa Fe defeated Junior 2-1 on Saturday at Estadio Metropolitano Roberto Meléndez in a Copa Colombia match that saw both teams finish the game with identical 1-1 records in the competition and across all competitions.

The Argentine attacker, who stands 6-1 and weighs 169 pounds, played the full 90 minutes and recorded the opening goal. Junior responded in the 88th minute when substitute Fernando Uribe Hincapié found the net, but Santa Fe had already taken a 2-0 lead earlier in the second half through a goal from Miguel Ángel Borja Hernández in the 7th minute. Borja, a Colombian attacker from Tierralta who stands 6-0 and weighs 191 pounds, also played the entire match. Uribe, from Pereira and listed at 5-10 and 167 pounds, played 33 minutes and scored the equalizer for the visitors.
