MONASTIR, Tunisia (Interstat) — Royal Antwerp B rallied with two second-half goals to defeat Francs Borains 2-1 on Sunday in a Belgian First Amateur Division match played at Stadio Comunale Monastir.

Francs Borains took the lead just after halftime when midfielder Hedy Chaabi of Nice, France, scored in the 46th minute. The home side’s discipline was costly, however, as it received three first-half yellow cards. Royal Antwerp B responded with two unanswered goals to secure the victory.

The result gives Royal Antwerp B a 2-0 start to its league campaign, while Francs Borains falls to 1-1. The match was the Week 1 contest for both teams in the domestic amateur division. The final score defied pregame projections that heavily favored Francs Borains.
