Skyy vs Heart of Lions

DABOASE, Ghana (Interstat) — Skyy will host Heart of Lions on Sunday, April 26, 2026, in a GHA: Cup of Cup matchup at Daboase Stadium.

Skyy, the home side, enters the contest with a significant layoff since its most recent result, a 2-1 loss to Eleven Wise on Dec. 1, 2024. The team has not played a competitive match in nearly five months.

Heart of Lions, the visiting squad, arrives on a four-match unbeaten run. Its most recent result was a scoreless draw against Nations FC on Sunday, April 19. That followed a 2-2 draw at Karela on April 12 and a 2-0 win over Vision FC on April 5.

The season has been inconsistent for Heart of Lions. The club notched a 3-1 victory over Asante Kotoko on Jan. 31 but also suffered heavy defeats, including a 3-0 loss to Young Apostles FC on March 29 and a 2-1 defeat at Berekum Chelsea on Feb. 15.

Heart of Lions has shown defensive resilience in recent weeks but has struggled for consistent scoring, with three clean sheets in its last four games.

Interstat’s game simulator projects a 1-0 victory for Skyy. The ELO system gives Skyy a 63.20 percent probability of winning.

Following Sunday’s cup fixture, Heart of Lions returns to GHA: Premier League play with a road match at Aduana Stars on April 26. Additional league games are scheduled against Samartex (May 10), Medeama (May 17) and Hohoe United FC (May 23).

Kickoff is set for Sunday at Daboase Stadium.
