MELBOURNE, Australia (Interstat) — Bentleigh Greens defeated Broadmeadow Magic 2-1 in extra time Sunday in an FFA Cup match at Kingston Heath Soccer Complex.

George Lambadaridis opened the scoring for the hosts in the 31st minute, but Jacob Dowse equalized for Broadmeadow Magic just a minute later. The match required extra time, where substitute Ken Krolicki scored the decisive goal in the 117th minute to secure the victory.

The result defied a pre-match projection from Interstat, which gave Bentleigh Greens a 73.9% chance to win but simulated a 1-1 draw. The match featured seven yellow cards. Bentleigh Greens improved to 1-0 across all competitions, while Broadmeadow Magic fell to 0-1.
