LUSTENAU, Austria (Interstat) — Gangwon staged a second-half comeback to defeat Suwon Bluewings 2-1 in a KOR FA Cup match Monday at Stadion an der Holzstraße. The home side Suwon took a lead before halftime with goals from Hyun-Muk Kang in the 31st minute and Sebastian Grønning Andersen in the 40th. Gangwon, however, scored twice after the break to secure the road victory. Dong-Hyun Kim of Gangwon received a yellow card in the 53rd minute. The result was an upset, as statistical models heavily favored Suwon Bluewings to win. Gangwon advances in the tournament while Suwon Bluewings suffers an opening defeat.
