LORIENT, France (Interstat) — Gomel Res. and Minsk Res. played to a 1-1 draw Sunday in a Belarusian Reserve League match held at Stade Yves Allainmat.

Bamba Dieng put Minsk Res. ahead in the 54th minute, assisted by substitute Adama Camara. Gomel Res. responded in the 74th minute when substitute Marshall Munetsi finished a pass from Pierre Lees-Melou to equalize. The result defied a pregame projection that favored Minsk Res. to win.

The match featured three yellow cards, issued to Camara, Lees-Melou and Minsk defender Arsène Kouassi. The draw leaves Gomel Res. unbeaten in the reserve competition this season, while Minsk Res. is still seeking its first win. The fixture was part of the league’s Week 15 schedule.
