STRUMICA, North Macedonia (Interstat) — Shkupi will look to halt a disastrous run of form when it visits Belasica in the MKD: Cup of Cup on Sunday.

The match at Stadion Blagoj Istatov pits a home side seeking consistency against a visiting team mired in a deep slump. Shkupi enters the cup tie reeling from a 3-0 home loss to Pelister on Tuesday, its fourth consecutive defeat. The club has been outscored 12-1 during that losing streak and has just one win in its last 10 matches across all competitions.

Belasica last played on Nov. 8, falling 2-1 to Skopje. Its previous match was a wild 5-4 victory over KF Aresimi 1973 on Aug. 27.

Forecasts for the match are conflicting. Interstat’s game simulator projects a 1-0 victory for Belasica. However, the same outlet’s ELO rating system gives Shkupi a 72.50 percent probability to win.

Following the cup match, Shkupi’s schedule does not get easier, with a MKD: First League road game against Vardar next on the docket.
