SANTIAGO DE CHILE (Interstat) — Audax Italiano defeated CD O’Higgins 2-1 on Saturday in a Week 20 Chilean Primera División match at Estadio Bicentenario Municipal de La Florida.

Michael Fuentes opened the scoring for the hosts in the 64th minute. O’Higgins’ Facundo Barcelo equalized seven minutes later, but Audax Italiano substitute Ignacio Colombini netted the decisive goal in the 84th minute.

O’Higgins finished with 10 men after Pedro Pablo Hernández received a red card in second-half stoppage time. The visitors also received four yellow cards, while Audax Italiano was shown one.

The result gave Audax Italiano a winning start to its league season, while O’Higgins began with a loss. The outcome defied a pre-match projection of a draw from Interstat, whose system heavily favored the home side.
