ZAPOPAN, Mexico (Interstat) — Haiti’s under-20 women’s team rallied for a 1-1 draw with Guyana’s under-20 women’s side in an A-10 Premier League match Saturday at Estadio Panamericano.

Defender Maudeline Moryl scored the equalizer for Haiti in the 58th minute, canceling out a 37th-minute goal from Guyana’s Inari Moore. The result defied a pregame projection that heavily favored Haiti to win.

Haiti remains undefeated in the competition, moving to one win and one draw. Guyana’s record in the tournament is now one loss and one draw. The match was part of a multi-national league organized by Ukraine’s A-10 Premier League.
