(Interstat) — PARMA U18 earned a 2-0 away victory over ATALANTA U18 in a Segunda Liga A-10 under-18 match Saturday at Stadio Benelli in Lido di Camaiore, Italy. The result defied pre-game projections that heavily favored the hosts.

Tamble opened the scoring for the visitors in first-half stoppage time, finding the net in the 45th+9 minute. Welat Cagro sealed the win with a second goal in the 85th minute. Interstat’s game simulator had projected a 1-0 Parma win, but its ELO rating system gave Atalanta a 65.3% probability of victory.

The match marked the opening of group play in the Portuguese-based competition for both sides. Parma U18 begins its campaign with a 1-0 record, while Atalanta U18 starts 0-1.
