Serbia U19 Women Rally for Draw Against Scotland in UEFA Qualifying Match
TIRANË, Albania (March 22, 2026) (Interstat) — Serbia’s under-19 women’s football team twice came from behind to secure a 1-1 draw with Scotland in a UEFA U19 Championship Women’s Qualification match Sunday at Air Albania Stadium.
Scotland struck first in the 10th minute through Sara Stokić. Serbia’s Anđela Marković leveled the match in the 69th minute, converting a critical chance after entering as a second-half substitute. Stokić received a yellow card in second-half stoppage time for Serbia.
The result defied a pre-match projection that favored Serbia with a 58.5% win probability and an expected score of 3-1 for Scotland. Serbia remains unbeaten in the qualification group, while Scotland searches for its first win.
