SCHÖFTLAND, Switzerland (April 22, 2026) (Interstat) — Goldau secured a narrow 1-0 road victory over Schöftland on Wednesday in a SUI: 2. Liga Interregional Cup match, defying pre-game projections.

The lone goal came in the 87th minute from Nikola Jovićević, breaking a deadlock at Sportanlage Rütimatten. The result spoiled Schöftland’s home opener in the competition.

Interstat’s game simulator had projected a 2-1 win for Schöftland, and its ELO system gave Goldau only a 57.8% probability to win. The victory improves Goldau’s record to 1-0 in the cup, while Schöftland falls to 0-1.
