BURNLEY, England (Interstat) — Erling Haaland scored twice Sunday to power Manchester City to a 2-1 victory over Burnley at Turf Moor in the Premier League season opener.

Haaland struck early, converting a Rodrigo assist in the fourth minute. He added a second in the 36th, finishing a pass from Julián Álvarez. Rodrigo was named the match’s top performer for City.
