Ivatsevichi vs Orsha
IVATSEVICHY, Belarus (Interstat) — Ivatsevichi is set to host Orsha in UEFA Europa Conference League qualifying action on Thursday, with statistical models heavily favoring the home side at Klenovka Arena.
The match, part of the Belarusian path to the European competition, marks a significant fixture for both clubs. Interstat’s ELO rating system gives Ivatsevichi a 74.7% probability of victory. The organization’s game simulator projects a 2-1 final score in favor of Ivatsevichi.
Ivatsevichi will take the pitch for the first time in nearly two years, with its last recorded result a 6-0 home defeat to Belshina on May 29, 2024. The lengthy hiatus makes current form a major unknown.
Orsha enters with more recent matches but inconsistent results. It is coming off a 2-1 away loss to Volna on Feb. 20. Earlier in January, Orsha played to a 4-3 victory at Osipovichi and a 2-2 draw at Molodechno, showing both offensive capability and defensive vulnerability.
The visiting side will also be looking ahead to a congested domestic schedule. Following Thursday’s European tie, Orsha resumes BLR: First Division play at Zhodino Yuzhnoe on March 21 and hosts Niva Dolbizno on April 3.
For Ivatsevichi, the focus is squarely on a triumphant return to competitive play and securing a vital first-leg advantage in European qualification. The projected edge from analysts will now be tested on the field at Klenovka Arena.
