STOCKHOLM (Interstat) — Molodechno scored twice in second-half stoppage time to complete a stunning 3-1 comeback victory over Volna in a Belarusian First Division match Friday at Stadyen Haradski.

Volna’s Ilya Sushchinskiy opened the scoring in the 14th minute. The match then saw four disallowed goals between the 33rd and 72nd minutes — two for each side — before Molodechno’s dramatic finish. Defender Evgeni Voyna equalized in the 93rd minute, and fellow defender Petr Kazantsev netted the winner two minutes later.

The result, defying a pregame projection favoring Volna, gave Molodechno a win in its league opener. Volna, which received three yellow cards to Molodechno’s two, begins its season with a loss.
