TALDIYKORGAN, Kazakhstan (Jan. 23, 2026) (Interstat) — Zhetysu rallied from a two-goal deficit to draw Kaspiy 2-2 in a Kazakhstan Premier League match Friday at Ortalıq Stadion Jetisu.

Kaspiy’s Rúben Brígido and Giorgi Pantsulaia scored in the 34th and 37th minutes, respectively, to stun the home side. Zhetysu defender Askhat Baltabekov pulled one back just before halftime.

Substitute Jovan Stojanović completed the comeback for Zhetysu, scoring the equalizer in the 81st minute and a dramatic winner in the 90th. The result defied a pre-match projection favoring Zhetysu.

The physical Week 12 contest featured six yellow cards. Zhetysu remains unbeaten in league play, while Kaspiy is still seeking its first win.
