NIKŠIĆ, Montenegro (Interstat) — Sutjeska defeated visiting Jedinstvo 106-51 on Wednesday at SC Niksic, using a fast start and balanced scoring to pull away. Sutjeska opened with a 25-7 first-quarter advantage, led 49-30 at halftime and never let Jedinstvo threaten. The home side improved to 1-0, while Jedinstvo fell to 0-1. Sutjeska controlled the game from the opening tip and never allowed Jedinstvo to establish sustained momentum. Jedinstvo had brief offensive stretches but could not match Sutjeska’s pace or scoring depth. Sutjeska’s defense limited Jedinstvo throughout, and the home team maintained a comfortable margin over the final two quarters. Sutjeska’s lead grew steadily as the home side dictated tempo on both ends. Jedinstvo struggled to close the gap after the opening quarter, and Sutjeska kept its offense productive down the stretch. Sutjeska will next visit Vukovi Zeta, while Jedinstvo is scheduled to host Decic. Both teams will continue their schedules after the lopsided result.
