GIRONA, Spain (Interstat) — Basquet Girona outscored visiting Dinamo Tbilisi 22-12 in the third quarter and won 87-75 on Tuesday. The hosts trailed 44-42 at halftime but added a 23-19 edge in the fourth. Girona shot 28 of 65 from the floor, made 9 of 32 3-pointers and hit 12 of 14 free throws. Dinamo Tbilisi shot 25 of 51, including 8 of 23 from beyond the arc, and made 11 of 16 at the line. Girona held a 14-6 edge in offensive rebounds, finished with 12 assists to Dinamo Tbilisi’s eight and committed 13 turnovers to Dinamo Tbilisi’s 17. Girona also had three blocks and Dinamo Tbilisi had two. Mac Mcclung scored 16 points for Girona, Martinas Geben added 13 points and six rebounds, David N Guessan had 12 points and Stanley Whittaker 11. Derrick Marks, Jonathan Stark and Anthony Roberts each scored 18 for Dinamo Tbilisi. Girona improved to 2-1, while Dinamo Tbilisi dropped to 3-1.
