PALANGA, Lithuania (Interstat) — Naglis Palanga defeated visiting Palangos Olimpas 102-76 on Thursday at LCC International University’s Sports Hall. Naglis Palanga improved to 4-1, while Palangos Olimpas fell to 2-3. Naglis Palanga led 25-16 after the first quarter, 51-37 at halftime and 77-59 after the third. Naglis Palanga shot 36 of 68 from the floor, made 13 of 35 3-pointers and converted 17 of 21 free throws. Palangos Olimpas shot 30 of 71, hit 6 of 20 from beyond the arc and made 10 of 20 free throws. William Jenkins III paced Naglis Palanga with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Armin Cane added 12 points, 10 assists and six rebounds for Palangos Olimpas, while Rokas Uzas scored 22 points. Naglis Palanga committed eight turnovers and recorded nine assists and four blocks. Palangos Olimpas had 17 turnovers, five assists and 12 offensive rebounds.
