KLAIPEDA, Lithuania (Interstat) — Telsiai will put its unbeaten record on the line Thursday when it visits Neptunas 2 in a basketball game. Telsiai is 4-0 this season, while Neptunas 2 is 2-2.

Telsiai has opened with four wins, including a 73-61 victory at Kedainiai BC in its most recent game. Julius Kazakauskas, a player to watch for Telsiai, had 12 points, 14 rebounds, four assists and two blocks in that win. Laurynas Kaveckis added 11 points and six rebounds, and Tadas Budrys scored 15 points. In earlier games, Telsiai defeated Mazeikiai 83-72, posted a 90-70 home win, and won 91-77 at Rytas 2. Telsiai has won its four games by 12, 11, 20 and 14 points.

Kazakauskas also had 12 points and four rebounds against Mazeikiai, 16 points and 10 rebounds against Plunges Olimpas, and six points, seven rebounds and four assists at Rytas 2. He had four assists in each of those four games. Kazakauskas logged 34 minutes at Kedainiai BC, 29 against Mazeikiai, 26 against Plunges Olimpas and 31 at Rytas 2.

Neptunas 2 enters after a 73-70 home win over Silute. Eimantas Zilius, a player to watch for Neptunas 2, scored 16 points and grabbed five rebounds in that game. Simas Sarakauskas added 10 points, five rebounds and five assists, while Aironas Zymantas had 11 points and eight rebounds. Neptunas 2 has also lost to Vytis Zanavykas 88-84, lost 76-72 at home, and won 91-76 at Kretingos Kretinga this season. Neptunas 2 has won by 15 and 3 points and lost by 4 and 4 points.

Zilius had 20 points and seven rebounds against Vytis VDU, nine points and six rebounds against Omega-Tauras, and 15 points and six rebounds at Kretinga. He also had one block in each of the first three of those games. Zilius logged 17 minutes against Silute, 26 at Vytis VDU, 17 against Omega-Tauras and 25 at Kretinga.

After Thursday, Telsiai is scheduled to host Vilkaviskis, Vilniaus Stekas, Kauno Atletas, Silute, Alytaus Patriotai and Kretingos Kretinga, and to visit Marijampole, Vytis Zanavykas, Jurbarko and Zalgiris. Neptunas 2 is scheduled to visit Mazeikiai, Rytas 2, Vilniaus Stekas, Kauno Atletas and Kedainiu, and to host Naglis Palanga, Palangos Olimpas, Marijampole, Jurbarko and Vilkaviskis.
