HEIDELBERG, Germany (Interstat) — Wolmirstedt defeated Heidelberg 85-74 on Saturday at OSP Rhein-Neckar in Heidelberg, Germany, using a dominant fourth quarter to erase a one-point deficit. Heidelberg opened with 23 first-quarter points, while Wolmirstedt scored 18. The hosts added 21 points in the second quarter, taking a 44-37 halftime lead after Wolmirstedt scored 19. Heidelberg managed 10 points in the third but still led 54-53 entering the final period after Wolmirstedt posted 16. Wolmirstedt then scored 32 points in the fourth and limited Heidelberg to 20 to complete the road win. The visitors improved to 3-1 this season. Heidelberg dropped to 3-2. Wolmirstedt’s earlier results this season include a win at Gottingen, a home win over Giessen and a loss at Kirchheim.
