PILSEN, Czechia (Interstat) — JBC MMCITE Brno defeated Lokomotiva Plzeň 83-69 on Sunday at Hala Lokomotiva. Brno led 23-8 after the first quarter, 40-28 at halftime and 58-49 after three quarters. Brno shot 31 of 70 from the floor, 7 of 26 from three-point range and 14 of 20 from the free throw line. Plzeň shot 24 of 68 from the floor, 10 of 32 from three-point range and 11 of 19 from the line. Brno had 14 offensive rebounds and eight assists, committed 12 turnovers and blocked three shots. Plzeň also had 14 offensive rebounds, seven assists and 18 turnovers. Milan Tomas Stranel paced Brno with 13 points, 12 rebounds and two blocks. Jermaine Webb added 18 points and seven rebounds, Jaden Edwards scored 16, Petr Krivanek had 13 and Viktor Pulpan finished with seven points, seven rebounds and eight assists. Troy D Amico led Plzeň with 19 points, six rebounds, three assists and one block. Damon Nicholas Jr. scored 13. Brno improved to 1-5; Plzeň fell to 0-6.
