MOSCOW (Interstat) — CSKA Moscow edged visiting Lokomotiv Kuban 87-84 on Sunday at CSKA Universal Sports Hall. CSKA opened with a 27-17 first quarter and led 43-36 at halftime. Lokomotiv won the second quarter 19-16 and the third 25-17, taking a 61-60 lead into the fourth. CSKA outscored Lokomotiv 27-23 in the final period to secure the win. The hosts improved to 5-1, while Lokomotiv fell to 3-2. Earlier this season, Lokomotiv beat CSKA 90-82 in Moscow. CSKA will next face Dynamo Vladivostok, while Lokomotiv will host Avtodor Saratov.
