TBILISI (Interstat) — Dinamo Tbilisi will host Oradea on Saturday at Sports Palace in a matchup of teams with strong early-season records.

Oradea enters at 5-2. The visiting side most recently fell 79-69 at Lok. Plovdiv, with Malik Osborne producing 15 points, eight rebounds and two assists in 34 minutes. Quincy Guerrier added 15 points and seven rebounds, while Joshua Jefferson had nine points, six assists and three rebounds. Oradea had won three straight before that loss, including a 98-92 home victory over Arges Pitesti and a 93-67 home win against Fribourg Olympic. Oradea also owns wins at Municipal Galati, at Batumi-RSU and at home against AEK Larnaca, with its other loss coming at Salon Vilpas.

Osborne is the player to watch for Oradea. In recent games, he scored 19 points against Arges Pitesti, had seven points and four rebounds against Fribourg Olympic, nine points and eight rebounds at Municipal Galati, and 10 points and six rebounds at Salon Vilpas. Oradea’s upcoming schedule includes games against VEF Riga, Atlassib Sibiu, Neftchi IK, Rapid Bucuresti, Mykonos, Craiova, Fribourg Olympic, SCM Timisoara, Lok. Plovdiv and CSO Voluntari.

Dinamo Tbilisi enters at 4-2 and most recently beat Szolnoki Olaj 93-76. Anthony Roberts led the way with 21 points, five rebounds and three assists in 25 minutes. Rostyslav Novitskyi scored 15 points, and Derrick Marks added 15 points, three assists and two rebounds. Dinamo Tbilisi has won three of its last four, including a 105-83 home win over Peja and a 96-58 road win at Peja. Its losses came at Atlassib Sibiu and at Basquet Girona.

Roberts is the player to watch for Dinamo Tbilisi. He scored 14 points at CSU Sibiu, 18 at Basquet Girona, 22 at Rapid Bucuresti, 13 against Peja and 11 at Peja. Dinamo Tbilisi’s upcoming schedule includes games against Oostende, Craiova, Levicki Patrioti, SCM Timisoara, Stelmet Zielona Gora, CSO Voluntari, Basquet Girona, Valcea, Szolnoki Olaj and Steaua Bucuresti.

Dinamo Tbilisi will look to use home court at Sports Palace, while Oradea aims to rebound from its road loss.
