PARIS (Interstat) — Zalgiris will visit Paris on Thursday in Euroleague play, with the visitors entering the matchup at 5-1 and the home team at 1-2.

Zalgiris has won five of its first six games this season. The 5-1 record includes a five-game winning streak before the loss to Olympiacos. Paris has one win in three games. The Euroleague contest will be played in Paris, making Zalgiris the visiting team and Paris the home team.

Azuolas Tubelis is a player to watch for Zalgiris. In his most recent performance, Tubelis had 27 minutes, 19 points, seven rebounds and three assists in Zalgiris’s 93-91 loss to Olympiacos at Zalgiris. He also had 11 points, five rebounds and two assists in 14 minutes against Neptūnas and six points, two rebounds and one assist in 13 minutes against Gargzdu Gargzdai.

Jonas Valanciunas contributed 11 points, six rebounds, seven assists and one block in the Olympiacos game. Sterling Brown scored 20 points and had one block. Brown’s 20 points led Zalgiris in that game, and Valanciunas’s seven assists were the most among Zalgiris players. Zalgiris’s other results this season include a 108-83 win at Alytaus Patriotai, a 101-82 win over Šiauliai, an 83-77 win at Crvena Zvezda, a 93-69 win at Neptūnas and a 98-77 win at Gargzdu Gargzdai. The Olympiacos result was Zalgiris’s most recent game.

Jared Rhoden is a player to watch for Paris. In the team’s most recent game, Rhoden had 17 minutes, 14 points, nine rebounds and one assist in a 92-79 loss to Partizan at Paris. Rhoden’s nine rebounds were the most among Paris players in that game. He also recorded 15 points, three rebounds and two assists in 23 minutes in a 78-73 win at Nancy.

Nadir Hifi added 15 points, two rebounds and four assists for Paris against Partizan. TJ Warren had 14 points, two rebounds and one block. Hifi’s four assists were the most among Paris players in that game. Paris’s other results this season are a 78-73 win at Nancy and a 72-91 loss at Panathinaikos. The Partizan result was Paris’s most recent game.

After facing Paris, Zalgiris is scheduled to host Vilkaviskis and Panevezys. Zalgiris will then visit Vilniaus Stekas and Barcelona before hosting Marijampole. The team will then visit Kedainiai Nevezis and Fenerbache Koleji, host Kauno Atletas and Anadolu Efes, and visit Vytis Zanavykas in its next 10 games.

Paris will visit Le Mans before hosting ASVEL and Strasbourg. Paris will then host Virtus Bologna and visit Crvena Zvezda before hosting Boulazac. Later, Paris will host Valencia and visit Roanne, Dubai and Maccabi Tel Aviv in its next 10 games.
