ISTANBUL (Interstat) — Trabzonspor defeated Sabah 100-83 on Wednesday at Ahmet Comert SS, using a dominant fourth quarter to pull away. Sabah led 71-65 after three quarters, but Trabzonspor scored 35 points in the fourth while limiting Sabah to 12. Akwasi Yeboah led Trabzonspor with 22 points and six rebounds. Frankie Fidler paced Sabah with 17 points, six rebounds and five assists. Yigit Arslan added 13 points and five assists for Trabzonspor. Isaiah Canaan scored 17, Troy Caupain had 15, Xavier Tillman finished with 10 points, five rebounds, four assists and two blocks, and Royce Hamm contributed eight points and four rebounds. Evan Bruinsma had seven points and eight rebounds for Sabah. Gerry Blakes scored 14, and Charles Manning Jr. added 13 points and four assists. Trabzonspor also finished with eight assists and six blocks, while Sabah had six assists and two blocks. Trabzonspor improved to 4-1. Sabah dropped to 0-2.
