EAST KILBRIDE, United Kingdom (Interstat) — The Glasgow Rocks will open their Super League Basketball season at home Sunday, Sept. 20, 2026, against Liverpool at Playsport Arena. Liverpool is the visiting team, while Glasgow is the home side. Both teams enter the game with 0-0 records.

Glasgow’s most recent previous result was an 82-91 loss to Bristol Academy on Friday, April 24, 2026. Bristol Academy scored 91 points, while Glasgow finished with 82. The Rocks will look to start the new campaign on a different note in front of their home crowd.

Liverpool enters the matchup without a game played this season. The visitors will begin a busy early schedule after Sunday, with a trip to London on Sept. 27. Liverpool then returns home to face Manchester on Oct. 4. A road game at Surrey 89ers follows on Oct. 10, and Liverpool travels to Bristol Academy on Oct. 18. Later in October, Liverpool hosts Newcastle on Oct. 25 and Cheshire on Oct. 30. The team then visits Manchester on Nov. 1 before hosting Glasgow on Nov. 8. Home games against Sheffield on Nov. 15 and Leicester on Nov. 22 close out the listed stretch.

Glasgow’s schedule also continues quickly after the opener. The Rocks visit Sheffield on Sept. 27 and Newcastle on Oct. 2. They return home to host London on Oct. 11 and Sheffield on Oct. 16. Glasgow then has a road date against Manchester Basketball on Oct. 18. The Rocks host Newcastle on Nov. 1 and travel to Liverpool Basketball on Nov. 8. The two sides are set to meet again in Liverpool on Nov. 8, giving the early season series an added point of interest.

The matchup at Playsport Arena brings together two teams at the starting line of the Super League Basketball campaign. Glasgow will play its first game since April, while Liverpool will make its season debut. The Rocks’ home floor and opening-night setting could shape the early rhythm, but both teams will be working to establish their form.

Liverpool’s first 10 listed games include six home dates after the opener, while Glasgow’s listed schedule features a mix of road trips and home contests through November. The teams will not have long to wait for a rematch, with Glasgow scheduled to visit Liverpool on Nov. 8. Before that, both clubs face a series of league opponents that will test their depth and consistency.
