KLAIPEDA, Lithuania (Interstat) — Neptūnas defeated visiting Šiauliai 110-88 on Sunday at Svyturys Arena, using a 31-point second quarter to take control. Neptūnas led after every quarter. Neptūnas led 26-17 after the first quarter and 57-43 at halftime before carrying an 85-65 advantage into the fourth. Henri Drell, Neptūnas’s top star, finished with 21 points and six rebounds, while Elvar Fridrikson added 18 points and 10 assists and Yannick Franke scored 20. Einaras Tubutis contributed 13 points and three rebounds, Martynas Echodas had 11 points and two rebounds, and Donatas Tarolis added eight points and five rebounds. Martynas Pacevicius led Šiauliai with 13 points and four rebounds, and Dovydas Romancenko contributed 12 points and eight rebounds. Cedric Henderson also scored 13 for Šiauliai, while Kassim Nicholson had 11 points and six rebounds. Both teams are now 5-6 this season. Neptūnas next plays Azzurro Napoli on Wednesday, while Šiauliai hosts Maxima Roma on Wednesday.
