Batumi-RSU improved to 1-0, while Fribourg Olympic dropped to 0-1. Carson Basham led Batumi-RSU with 16 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks. Giorgi Ochkhikidze added 17 points and 10 assists, Valdy Zephir scored 18 points and Larry Howell had 16 points and eight rebounds. Batumi-RSU shot 30 of 64 from the floor, 8 of 16 from three-point range and 18 of 28 from the free-throw line. It was outrebounded 44-41 but overcame 16 turnovers. Fribourg Olympic led 69-64 after three quarters before Batumi-RSU closed with a 22-16 fourth quarter. Fribourg Olympic got 22 points, eight rebounds and four assists from Deyton Albury. Izan le Meut recorded 15 points and 14 rebounds, while Joe Toussaint added 14 points and five assists. Fribourg shot 31 of 83 overall, 8 of 38 from beyond the arc and 15 of 24 at the line.
