RISSKOV, Denmark (Interstat) — Bakken Bears defeated visiting Landstede 89-78 on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2026, at Vejlby Risskov Center. Bakken improved to 1-0, while Landstede dropped to 0-1. Myles Corey led Bakken with 21 points, two assists and two blocks. Boyd van der Vuurst de Vries paced Landstede with 22 points, six assists, three rebounds and one block. Djahi Binet added nine points and 11 rebounds for Bakken, Shaquille Rombley scored nine, and Sylvester Berg chipped in 10. Landstede’s Devin Whitfield scored 13, while Isaac Abidde and Nelson Haskin each had nine points and eight rebounds. Bakken shot 30 of 69 from the floor, 8 of 28 from three-point range and 21 of 31 from the free throw line. Landstede shot 29 of 66 overall, 13 of 28 from deep and 7 of 9 at the line. Bakken held a 37-31 rebounding edge, including 10-4 on offensive boards, and posted advantages of 10-5 in assists and 5-2 in blocks. Landstede committed 19 turnovers and 24 fouls; Bakken had 12 turnovers and 17 fouls. Landstede next hosts Shoeters Den Bosch on Oct. 4.
