HOLON, Israel (Interstat) — Cholet Basket defeated Hapoel Holon 99-79 on Tuesday at Holon City Arena, using a fast start to control the game. Cholet led 33-9 after the first quarter and 56-32 at halftime. The visitors extended their advantage to 80-56 through three quarters before Hapoel trimmed the final margin. Mohamed Diarra paced Cholet with 23 points and seven rebounds. Amadou Fall added 15 points and five assists, Malcolm Cazalon scored 11, Digue Diawara had 10 points and eight rebounds, and Sitraka Raharimanantoanina contributed eight points and four rebounds. Lynn Kidd scored eight points, Miralem Halilovic had seven, and Jarrod West finished with six for Cholet. Adama Sanogo led Hapoel with 22 points, 13 rebounds, two assists and one block. Netanel Artzi scored 10 points. Cholet improved to 2-1, while Hapoel fell to 0-3. Cholet returns home to face Pau-Orthez. Hapoel hosts Hapoel Jerusalem.
