FMP vs. Partizan
BELGRADE, Serbia (Interstat) — Partizan hosts FMP on Friday at Stark Arena in a Serbian KLS matchup that pits two teams heading in opposite directions.
Partizan (44-25 across all competitions) has won three straight and enters on a high after a 89-78 victory at Crvena Zvezda on May 21. Center Dylan Osetkowski has been a catalyst for the streaking home side, averaging 11 points and 4.5 rebounds over his last four games, including a 17-point, four-rebound outing against Crvena Zvezda.
FMP (13-15) counters with momentum of its own, having defeated Mega Leks 99-95 on May 12. Forward Filip Barna posted a near triple-double in that win with 26 points, 10 assists and six rebounds, while center Filip Rebraca added 13 points and eight boards.
The teams have played three times this season, each game decided by single digits or overtime. Partizan holds a 2-1 edge in the season series, including a 95-90 overtime win at home on Feb. 19 and a 109-103 overtime victory on Oct. 20. FMP’s lone win came Dec. 14, a 91-79 decision at home.
Partizan’s depth stretches beyond Osetkowski. Bruno Fernando posted 19 points and six rebounds in the win over Crvena Zvezda, and point guard Carlik Jones dished eight assists. The home side has won nine of its last 10 games.
FMP has split its last six, with wins over Mega Leks (twice) and Spartak, but road losses to Ilirija and Vienna. Forward Marko Radovanovic chipped in 11 points and five boards against Mega Leks.
Tipoff is set for Friday evening at Stark Arena.
